MY WORDS...

HBP??? What is that? This came across my mind when i have my first step do registration in my school. My school called school of Housing, Building & Planning or a.k.a HBP in short form. The funny things or funny quotes on my school's name really have many. What senior or lectures told us was Hantu Balik Pagi, High Budget Project, High Blood Pressure and blar blar......First semester in HBP has been passed and thanks to all lectures and all HBP-ians for serving us a platform to transform to a better person. We are not born to know everything, for a baby, he learnt creep first then walking. So as we do, I am not good in drawing, sketching and almost everything in art, it is not a big matter though as long as we are given chance to learn as a beginner just like the same situation for me in HBP. I learnt how to apply shading effect with different pencil, colouring with tones, and even build model. Haha. besides, I also learnt to be discipline, motivated and working as a team. For new experiences would be doing real site analysis in Batu Ferringhi. I learnt to take different aspects to count in as consideration for site choosing such as local climate and weather, sun and wind prevailing, vegetation and etc. What I love the most in HBP "practices" is we are really integrated. Our school has 7 different majors though, but we are distributed well to know each other through group division in projects. That is an extraordinary practise which you will never see for other schools. At the same time, it gave us chance to learn strong points from others and to improve our shortcomings. This really happen to myself. Again, once a HBP-ians, always a HBP-ians.  XD

PROJECT 10 EXHIBITON

It is the time we show all our efforts to other schools, out from HBP. This year, we name our exhibition with "XZBITION" with theme DOMINO. And our EZBITION was held in Drum HBP. It is extremely looks gorgeous after decorated by each of us. My group was appointed in charge of sculpture booth.

3 days, time flies and reach the moment we have to clean up all booths. Although everyone of us may feel  unhappy, but this EZBITION will leave memory in each of us and be in history.

Project 9 is directly related to previously done project 8. Whatever information we have been collected were used to choose the best site to build our Information Centre. The main purpose to build information centre is to bring conveniences to tourists who visits Batu Ferringhi. Of course we have chosen site 3 as it will be more easily approach and near local landmark (The Ship).

Project 9B:

The whole report consists of the purpose, goal and objective to build information centre. Besides, essential such as background study and site analysis are a must. Design development, construction method, material selection have to be included also. Lastly, elemental cost analysis (ECA) and project scheduling to make sure all tasks completed on time. 

Project 9C:

Although 3 weeks we sacrifice our sleeping time to spent on whole project 9, we feel worth once the moment our model has been completed. I still remember the moment we have MCD delivery even at midnight. HBP's life rocks and superb...

Project 8 is the most fantastic as the whole first year of HBP students first time went out together for site analysis in Batu Ferringhi. We have been taught to do site analysis holistically this time. What we had to be concerned with are familiar with local tourism activities, local facilities, spatial analysis and much more. Next would be the BBQ at night. We all sit together just like a big family without considering different major disparity.

A great thankful must be delivered to all HBP lectures for their effort and caring to us especially their sponsors to buy food and beverages for BBQ night. 

PROJECT 7 INTERLINKED

In project 7, we require to make a sky-bridge model which link HBP resources centre and HBP main office. Site analysis have to be carried out such as key plan, location plan, vegetations, sun & wind circulation. Also, we have to draw blueprint of our designed skybridge. This started as a group project and we are glad to know more about each other. ^.^
